We had been very fortunate in all our years breeding to have never lost an adult cat, but in our hearts we knew that the day would finally come to say goodbye to some of our older cats.....
"MAGWAI"

Ch.
& Pr. Shinoto Zamira - Bluepoint
DOB: 13
Feb 1985 - 28 Feb 2001
Sire:Arodelle
Mistee Minx (Bluepoint)
Dam: Shinoto
Sanchia (Sealpoint)
The cat that founded our dynasty. Magwai as she was known (after the cute creatures in the movie Gremlins), and where our cattery name evolved was a grand old lady. Her embossed photo is the backgrond for this website as a tribute to her. She loved to sit in the sun with her old pal "Anniepuss". She produced lovely quality kittens in her time, if not quantity, with broad heads and firm boning.
"ANNIEPUSS"
Ajarat
Annabella - Sealpoint
DOB: 24
Nov 1984 - 14 February 2002
Sire:
Ch. Badarene Panache (Imp Aust) - (Sealpoint)
Dam: Ch.
Badarene Bonnie Blu (Imp Aust) - (Bluepoint)
"Anniepuss" as she was known was actually older than Magwai, as we got her on lease for a year as an adult and she stayed 15 years!! Her and Magwai were great mates and loved to spend time in the sun and roaming around our house section. Annie was a prolific breeder and had 48 kittens in her time, producing some very nice type offspring. A number of our cats are descended from her and she was used early on in the Chocolate and Lialcpoint breeding programs. She threw lovely head type in her kittens and good boning. We will miss her quiet affection...
"GENNY"

|
DOB: 1 Jan 1990 - 5 April 2003
Sire: Sibir Hamlet (Imp U.K.) (Bluepoint)
Dam: Ch. & Pr. Magwai Anastasia (Sealpoint)
A beautiful
girl who I feel had one of the nicest heads I had ever seen on a
female Birman (she really was Dad's girl). "Genny" had real purrsonality,
coupled with fabulous boning and beautiful coat colour. If I could breed
all our Birmans like her consistantly, I would die a happy man!! .
Although
not a great producer of kittens, a huge percentage of them were kept or
sold for breeding.
The Rainbow Bridge
Just this
side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that
has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run
and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends
are warm and comfortable.
All the
animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those
who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember
them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content,
except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone
who was left behind.
They all
run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks
into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to
quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass,
faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special
friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted
again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the
beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone
from your life, but never absent from your heart.
Then you
cross the Rainbow Bridge together...
